How is Your Workout Better with a Personal Trainer?
How is Your Workout Better with a Personal Trainer?
You might be thinking how much difference is there when you work out with a personal trainer compared to when you work out on your own by yourself?
Here are a few of the differences of working out with a personal trainer:
1-Working out by yourself you may tend to quit in the middle of your workout if you get tired. Or you may not even do your scheduled workout at all!
However, when you have a scheduled a workout with your personal trainer, you will be much more committed to being there. Having a set appointment with a trainer that either comes to your home for the workout or meet you at the gym will be some major incentive to be there and not miss.
2- When you are working out by yourself, you may find yourself quitting in the middle of a weight training set or during an aerobic workout when you begin to feel tired (either mentally or physically).
A personal trainer can really motivate you to persist in your training and encourage you through the reluctance you feel about completing your training plan. The personal trainer can give you specific exercises tailored to your physique and your fitness level that can propel you much faster in progressing toward your fitness goals.
3-If you feel a bit unsure when you first start working out at a gym or fitness center that is normal. If you are surrounded by well toned gym rats (folks who live at the gym night and day), you may be self- conscious about setting up your training plan and wonder if you are using the equipment correctly.
Working with a trainer is essential when you first start working out with weights and using complicated equipment. The personal trainer will walk you through each exercise you need to be doing for your fitness level and for the goals that you have. You will be taught the proper form for each exercise so you can avoid injury and to get the best results. You will be shown the best and correct use of each machine and workout program. You will achieve your fitness goals much faster than if you had tried to figure everything out on your own.
4-Sometimes we can be our own worst critic and not see progress that we make. However with a personal trainer, they will be able to point out the progress you are making, even when you have a hard time seeing it for yourself.
Especially when you are a fitness beginner you will see that workouts on your own are just not going to give you the same results as you would see with a personal trainer at your side.
After you work out a few times with a qualified personal trainer you will quickly see the difference between solitary workouts and professional organized personal training workouts.

Yes, I totally agree with the article. I've achieved such success beyond my wildest imagination in such a short period of time (in 2 months I dropped 25 pounds and am shredded! …at a BMI of 21). I was lucky to find one I felt very comfortable with and was able to push me to the limits. The weekly appointments forced me to watch my diet, as my trainer always monitored me and called me on things that didn't seem to be going well. It's great. If you can do it, and find the right trainer for you, go for it. (And who cares if you're out of shape. I was and had those gym rats try to show off during my trainer work outs. But I knew that if I stuck it out with my trainer and followed the entire routines laid out, the tables would be turned. And they were!! Now they check me out and think that *I* show off. haha funny world.)
