How Much Money Can A Personal Trainer Make?
How Much Money Can A Personal Trainer Make?
One of the benefits of becoming a personal trainer is that you will be able to enjoy the benefits of being well paid for doing something you love to do.
The exact amount is going to vary according to whether you choose to work for a gym or other training facility or if you align yourself with a professional athletic organization (in which case you will probably be given a salary, the amount of which being directly related to the amount of income that each brings in in a year-for example, you would probably be able to make more money serving as a personal trainer to the Washington Redskins than you would working for the YMCA) or if you choose to launch out on your own. On average, personal training sessions cost between $35 and $60 per hour, although some trainers with a good reputation under their belts can charge up to $200 for a single session.
This means that a personal trainer working with the general public could earn anywhere from $35 to $200 an hour.
Many professionals will pay much more, others much less; there really are not guarantees, other than the fact that your services are rare, and therefore much in demand, means that you will earn a great deal more than you would through many other career choices.
